Shirley Smith High School

SQC Group partnered with Icon to finalise the reference design and prepare all Architectural documentation for the new public High School in Kenny, which opened in 2023. The school can accommodate up to 800 students (years 7-10) and 200 staff, with future expansion capacity for up to 1,000 students.

Shirley Smith High School features high-quality general and specialist learning environments, including indoor and outdoor areas and integrated spaces for students with specialised needs. Dedicated community facilities include a multi-purpose hall, double gymnasium, covered hard courts for various sports, and an oval for soccer and rugby games.

The GC21 Project Delivery ensured a responsive, collaborative approach under Icon’s strong leadership, achieving successful project milestones.
